At Riverview Coffee, we eschew automated roasting in favor of the artisanal approach. Every micro-batch is craft roasted, relying on the roaster's keen senses to bring out each coffee's distinct qualities. Post-roasting, each batch undergoes a rigorous cupping process. Hot water steeped with grounds in a small cup forms a crust, which is broken to reveal the true flavor. We smell the grounds to assess the bouquet, then re-evaluate once water is applied, before finally tasting each cup to verify the flavor profile. Each selection is described in detail, offering drinkers a glimpse into the intricate flavors within.
